Bihar Rural Livelihoods Promotion Society (BRLPS) has released the notification for multiple posts including Block Project Manager, Livelihood Specialist, Area Coordinator, Accountant (District/Block Level), Office Assistant (District/Block Level), Community Coordinator, and Block IT Executive. This recruitment drive is for 2,747 vacancies. The online application started on 30 July 2025 and will remain open till 21 August 2025 (Extended). Post Name Qualification Eligibility
  • Block Project Manager – 73 Posts
  • A Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university/institute.
  • Role Highlights: Lead the block team, plan & execute project activities, coordinate with agencies, support local institutions, and manage block-level finance & administration with regular field visits.
  • Livelihood Specialist – 235 Posts
  • PG/PG Diploma in: Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Technology, Fisheries, Horticulture, Hotel Management, Rural/Retail/Food Technology/Fashion/Sericulture/General Management; OR BBA/Graduate in relevant fields from a recognized institute.
  • Role Highlights: Implement livelihood initiatives (e.g., agriculture, apiculture), train community cadres, and prepare Village Livelihood Plans to unlock local opportunities.
  • Area Coordinator – 374 Posts
  • Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university/institute.
  • Role Highlights: Coordinate cluster-level field activities, and serve as the nodal point for micro-planning, bank linkages, institution building, livelihoods, and social development.
  • Accountant (DPCU/BPIU Level) – 167 Posts
  • Graduate in Commerce from a recognized institution.
  • Role Highlights: Maintain accounts at DPCU/BPIU, assist block staff, organize & preserve records, and handle official communications.
  • Office Assistant (DPCU/BPIU Level) – 187 Posts
  • Graduate in any discipline with mandatory computer typing in Hindi & English.
  • Role Highlights: Provide secretarial support to BPM/BPIU officials, manage correspondence & records, and coordinate communication between BPIU, DPCU, and SPMU.
  • Community Coordinator – 1,177 Posts
  • Fresh Graduates (Male) and Intermediate (12th) qualified (Female) from recognized boards/universities are eligible.
  • Role Highlights: Work at village level to form/support SHGs, provide basic training, guide community cadres, facilitate micro-planning & bank linkages, manage CIF utilization, and help resolve local issues.
  • Block IT Executive – 534 Posts
  • B.Tech (CS/IT), BCA, B.Sc (IT) or PGDCA from UGC/AICTE-recognized institute, with typing proficiency in Hindi & English.
  • Role Highlights: Strengthen digitization, train block teams on IT systems, extract data for reports, maintain IT equipment, and ensure accurate field-level data entry.
